Help Us Plan for the Future Needs of Elder Central Floridians

The Area Agency on Aging of Central Florida, Inc. d/b/a Senior Resource Alliance provides leadership, advocacy, resources and services for elders in Brevard, Orange, Osceola, and Seminole Counties.  The mission is to enable individuals to age with independence and dignity.  Each year, the agency reaches out to over 30,000 elders through the Elder Helpline and a variety of health and wellness educational activities.  Over 10,000 elders receive direct services annually.

We accomplish this mission through planning, contract management, program development and advocacy.  Our annual budget is approximately $25 million of federal, state and local funding.  We contract with local service agencies to provide meals, transportation, homemaker, personal care, home repair, adult day care, and other home and community based services for elders and their caregivers.  Local matching contributions from the county government, United Way, and private foundations help to maintain elders in their own homes.  We also oversee the federal, state, and local programs for quality assurance and compliance with federal and state guidelines.

Every three years, we are required to perform a needs assessment to help us plan for the future needs of our elder citizens and those who care for them.  Would you please take a few moments to complete the online version of our needs assessment?  You can begin the survey by clicking at the link below:
